Fish

We had a long day hiking in the Picos. First a hike up a very steep trail in these limestone peaks. Then down and drove to a tiny village just south, and hiked to the next village, and then across fields, picking fresh cherries. The sun finally came out and stayed with us. We made our way back to this seaside village called San Vicentes, and we sat ouside and had lots of seafood and such. Nice day.

Heading to the mtns

Going to hike in the Picos de Europa, lovely mountains to the west. The boys are loaded into our Peugeot. Had another nice sleep at an apartment west of Santander

We all meet up!

we've all met up, watched a bit of world cup, amd it's time for a late bite just around the corner from our lovely hotel in the old city. Elijah and noah are hurtin' puppies, they'll sleep well tonight

Logan outbound

Our first international meal!! (chiinese at logan airport) Dave dropped us off, and 16 hours from now we should be meeting up with Renee in Bilbao.

Boning up

Last-minute cramming of Spanish (language and geography) before heading out. Renee goes to Portugal this Saturday, and I take the boys to Bilbao on Monday, and (theoretically) Renee meets up with us. Stand by for details.
